Prasant Misra is a Senior Scientist at Tata Consultancy Services – Research, where he works on intelligent cyber physical systems for smart mobility. He is a Visiting Faculty at the Robert Bosch Centre for CPS, IISc Bangalore.
He has published over 60 scientific and position papers in the field of CPS/IoT, mobile systems, and electric mobility. He has been felicitated by numerous honors and awards for his work, of which it is noteworthy to mention the MIT TR 35 – India “Top 10 Innovators under the age of 35 in India” and the TCS “Exemplary Contribution Award” in 2017; the ERCIM “Alain Bensoussan” and “Marie Curie” Fellowship in 2012; and the Australian Government’s AusAID “Australian Leadership Awards” Scholarship in 2008. He is a recipient of the Best Paper Award (in the applied data science track) at ACM India CODS-COMADS 2023; and has won the Best Poster Paper Award at ACM SenSys 2016 and EWSN 2013.
Vishwas is currently Principal Architect at Smarten Spaces and leads its IoT & AI Platform. He specializes in standardization, architecture, protocol stacks, device management and information security aspects of Internet of Things. He is an IoT subject matter expert of international repute and is regularly invited as a keynote speaker at several international and national IoT events.
He has 17+ years of applied R&D experience in wireless communications & networking, out of which 8+ years are in IoT. He was awarded the Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship twice by the European Commission and contributed to several European R&D projects in the IoT/M2M/WSN domain.
He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of IEEE Internet of Things Community, IEEE Technical Committee on Security & Privacy, IEEE P-1912 WG, and IET. He is a member of CISO/TiE Taskforce on IoT Security, Secretary of IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter, and Executive Committee Member of IET Bangalore Network.
He holds a PhD in Wireless Communications (Europe) and MTech & BE in ECE (India).
Dr. Abhishek Appaji is working as Institutional Coordinator for R&D at B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru. He is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp specialized in new ventures leadership. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Medical Electronics with University Rank from BMSCE, Masters of Technology in Information Technology, and a Masters of Engineering (M.E) in Bioinformatics from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore. His Ph.D. was in Mental Health and Neurosciences from Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Abhishek is a Senior Member of IEEE and have served in various positions. Abhishek has received various grants from Indian agencies like DST, DBT, BIRAC, and from abroad. Abhishek has also worked as a research associate in the Centre for Nanoscience and Engineering (CeNSE), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. He has two patents filed in Medtech Space. He has more than 50 International/National journal publications and conferences to his credit. He has been a part of more than 150+ Invited expert talks in various conferences, Forums, and events. He has renowned laurels including IEEE International Best paper Award in Malaysia, MGH CamTech Jugadathon Awards, Best Nodal Coordinator award, Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award 2016 at Rastrapathy Bhavan (President of India House) New Delhi, Elderly care Hackathon (the Netherlands), Winner of Class 5 Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, IEEE MGA Young Professional Achievement Award, R10 YP achievement award, etc.
Alok Ranjan is currently associated with Bosch, India as a Research Architect. He is passionate to build systems around interdisciplinary research areas. He has led multiple projects in the area of Industrial IoT, Sensing, Mobile Systems and computing, and wireless communication. His current research focus is AIoT and applied data science in smart mobility/Electric vehicle ecosystem.
Alok holds more than 9 years of research experiences and have been an active contributor in scientific journals/conferences (20+ publications). He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and member of ACM and ACM SIGCOM. He is a member of the executive committees of COMSNETS Association and IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter.
Archana is currently working as Assistant Professor at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology. Her past experience includes working as Technical Lead at Cynepia Technologies, Bangalore and as Project Linked Personnel at Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore. She has also worked as Technical Lead in SciBase Project (Web-page: http://sahascibase.org/) at Center for Applied Mathematical Modeling and Simualtion. Recently, she submitted her PhD Thesis under VTU in Scientometrics and Machine Learning.

She is also associated with ‘Journal Of Scientometrics Research’ as Associate Fellow and Associate Editor for Special Edition on Machine Learning. She received her Masters in Engineering in Web Technologies, (Computer Science) from UVCE, Bangalore wherein she secured first rank (89%) at Department level. Her overall Rank in PGCET at the state level was 8th (PG Common Entrance Test) in the year 2011.
