IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter, founded in the year 1982, is one of the largest technical societies of IEEE Bangalore. This is the 40^th year of its establishment, and I feel extremely humbled to take up the responsibility of leading this vibrant Chapter as Chair 2022.

Our mission statement stems from our core purpose, which is to establish Computer Society technical activities as the pre-eminent forums for innovation, information, and services in current technical areas; and to extend computing technologies and applications into areas currently unexplored. IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter places an additional focus on fostering, mentoring, and supporting technical leaders; innovations; forums and platforms; interest groups within the Bangalore geographic area of operation (namely the state of Karnataka).

IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter aspires to DOUBLE its strength in this year by following a strong diversity and inclusion model.

The team has embarked upon a meticulously planned journey of providing significant value addition to its members (that include students and academic/industry professionals across genders) through specialized professional development programs; opportunities and exposures; unique recognitions and felicitations.
