Dr. Geetha Manjunath is the Co-founder and CEO of NIRAMAI Health Analytix, a startup developing a novel breast cancer screening solution. Geetha has over 25 years in IT research and has created many innovative prototypes, patents, publications and new products. Till end of 2016, she was the head of Data Analytics Research at the Xerox Research India, where she supervised many interesting projects using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in healthcare, smart cities and customer care domains. Before that, she was a Principal Research Scientist at Hewlett Packard Labs India and a Technical Lead at C-DAC Bangalore.

Geetha is a gold medalist from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore from where she holds a Master’s Degree and PhD from Computer Science and Automation Department. She was recently recognized by Indian Government with BIRAC WinER (Women in Entrepreneural Research) Award for 2018. She was earlier the winner of 2009 NASCCOM IT Innovator and 2010 MIT TR Grand Challenges for technologist. She is the author of a book on Cloud Technologies called “Moving to the Cloud”. She is currently the Chair of IEEE Computer Society, Bangalore Chapter, and on the Governing Board of CCICI. She holds 14 US patents and many more pending grant.

Snehanshu Saha holds Masters Degree in Mathematical and Computational Sciences at Clemson University, USA and Ph.D. from the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2008. He was the recipient of the presitigious Dean’s Fellowship during PhD and Summa Cum Laude for being in the top of the class. After working briefly at his Alma matter, Snehanshu moved to the University of Texas El Paso as a regular full time faculty in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Texas El Paso.

Currently, He is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at PES University since 2011 and heads the Center for AstroInformatis, Modeling and Simulation. He is also a visiting Professor at the department of Statistics, University of Georgia, USA and BTS Pilani, India. He has published 90 peer-reviewed articles in top-tier International journals and conferences and authored three text books on Differential Equations, Machine Learning and System Sciences respectively.

Dr. Saha is an IEEE Senior member, ACM Senior Member, Vice Chair-International Astrostatistics Association and Fellow-IETE. He’s Editor of the Journal of Scientometric Research. Dr Saha is the recipient of PEACE Award for his foundational contributions in Machine Learning and AstroInformatics. Dr. Saha’s current and future research interests lie in Data Science, Astronomy and theory of Machine Learning.

Vishwas is currently Principal Architect at Smarten Spaces and leads its IoT/AI Platform design & development. His areas of interest include IoT, AI, Cyber Security, Privacy and Cloud/Edge Technologies.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE and Chair of IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter. He holds a PhD in ICT/Wireless Communications and MTech & BE in ECE.

Hima Patel is a research manager at IBM Research Lab and leads a team of researchers in problems at the intersection of NLP and machine learning with an aim to build scalable systems that can be deployed into IBM products.

In her 13 years of experience spanning Visa, Shell Research and GE, she has worked on several research problems spanning from object detection in medical images to anomaly detection from sensor data collected from machines like compressors and turbines. She is also actively involved with the organization of Grace Hopper India conference for last three years and is also an executive committee member for IEEE Computer Society, Bangalore Section.

She holds a B.E. in Computer Science from GCET and M Tech in Information and Communication Technology from DA-IICT.

Dr Seema Chopra is working as Global Technical Leader – Data Analytics at Boeing Research and Technology, India.

She has recognised as the part of Boeing Technical Fellowship and became Boeing India’s first ‘Associate Technical Fellow’ for
Artificial Intelligence. Her current work includes developing next generation advanced health management technologies using analytics and big data platforms for commercial and defence applications.

Prior to this role, she was with GE as a PHM (Prognostic Health Management) Technical Leader and was involved in design and developing prognostic health management technologies to enable strategic growth for Condition Based Maintenance for Gas turbines. Seema earned her doctorate degree in Control engineering from IIT Roorkee, India and the focused area was to design Fuzzy Controller with Intelligent Design
Approaches with reduced rule set.
